14OZ ‘BEFORE DAWN’ 1001BG DENIM (GYM FIT)

Introduction:

In the early morning, there is an hour of complete darkness.... before dawn. This pitch-black gradually begins to reveal glimmers of light, revealing the day is about to begin! In a pitch-black brand new state, we introduce our vision for how the light can tell the story of our days.

Denim fabric:

In this collection, we have developed another signature denim. This 14oz 'Before Dawn' denim is black sulphur thread dye for both weft and warp and is completed many times to achieve one of the darkest tones we have seen. Both the warp and the weft and in complete darkness! The vertical texture is strong and has a subtle neppy feeling. With wear and wash, you'll see white highlights appear just like the start of dawn, exposing the areas of wear and beautiful texture.

Pitch-Black details:

The continuation of darkness is carried across the entire denim. From the specially dyed copper rivets that require 6 months of soaking to the black coated iron buttons, the hardware will gain a high contrast aged look in time as they oxidise and chip. The royal-inspired, gold-stamped deerskin leather patch is super soft and has an amazing texture under the sunlight. The pocket bags feature a black thread-dyed HBT fabric that's comfy against the skin and durable.

'U' Shaped double stitched back pockets:

We love classic arc stitching pockets, but we also love minimal design. How to balance them in between? We made these with a subtle ‘U’ shaped double stitched back pocket for you! Of course, the double-stitched back pockets will hold the pockets strongly with wear and you can easily recognise, this is a pair of UG denim! 

Gym Fit:

This is a pair of slim tapered fit we specially developed for the those who always love to hit the gym, looking for mid-high rise, comfy thigh and very aggressive tapered leg opening. These will fit both sneakers and boots PERFECTLY!

Shrinkage:

This denim is unsanforized, it will shrink 4~8% with washing.

Cold soak: 0.75'' in the waist ; 1.25'' in the inseam

Warm soak or cold machine wash: 1.25'' in the waist ; 1.75'' in the inseam

Warm machine wash: 1.75'' in the waist ; 2.5'' in the inseam
